Alex has worked in the NHS for over 16 years and began her career as a Receptionist for one of our network practices – Rainhill Village Surgery, when she was 20 years old.

Alex then when onto to qualify as a HCA in both primary and secondary care and worked across various settings within the NHS.

She then went onto to join the PCN in 2021 as a Clinical Care Coordinator and with her wealth of knowledge, excelled in this role to become the Lead Care Coordinator for the team.

The PCN recognised her commitment and achievements to her role and Alex was then promoted to the PCN Liaison Lead as well as the Lead Care Coordinator. Alex is instrumental to the operations of the PCN and leads a team of care coordinators that service not only the PCN Hub but our network partners.

Alex and her team manage many functions such as reception for our PCN clinics and enhanced access service for our network partners, as well as our patches online services.

Outside of work, you will see Alex on the Rugby pitch cheering her sons playing the sport.
