Our Remote Care Service provides patients with convenient access to healthcare professionals without needing to attend a GP practice in person.
Remote appointments are available Monday to Friday, from 6.30pm to 9pm, providing additional access to care during the evening.
What is remote care?
Remote Care allows you to have an appointment with a healthcare professional remotely, where appropriate, rather than attending the practice in person.
The service is designed to complement the care provided by your usual GP practice and provide greater flexibility in how and when you access primary care.
When is the service available?
Remote appointments are available:
Monday to Friday: 6.30pm–9pm
Appointments are subject to availability.
How to access this service?
Remote Care appointments are booked through your GP practice reception team.
Please contact your usual GP practice and explain what you need help with. The reception team can advise whether a remote appointment is suitable for your needs and arrange an appointment where appropriate.
Is remote care suitable for everyone?
Some health concerns can be managed effectively through a remote consultation, while others may require a face-to-face appointment or further assessment.
Your GP practice team will help ensure you are directed to the most appropriate service for your needs.
