Community and clinical care

Community Clinics

Local clinics delivered on behalf of our member practices.

Our Community Clinics are delivered on behalf of all our member GP practices and provide dedicated care for patients with infectious illnesses.

The clinics enable patients to receive appropriate assessment and care while helping our practices manage infectious illness safely across the PCN.

What are Community Clinics?

Community Clinics provide appointments for patients who have symptoms of an infectious illness and would benefit from assessment by a healthcare professional.

Appointments are provided by experienced clinicians who can assess your symptoms, provide advice and treatment where appropriate, and advise on any further care you may need.

How to access a Community Clinic

Appointments are arranged through your GP practice.

If you are unwell, please contact your GP practice reception team and explain your symptoms. The team will assess your needs and advise on the most appropriate appointment or service for you.

If a Community Clinic appointment is suitable, your practice team will provide you with the appointment details, including where and when you will be seen.

Please do not attend a Community Clinic without a pre-booked appointment.
