Our Enhanced Access Service gives patients registered with our member practices greater flexibility to access primary care appointments outside normal GP practice opening hours.
On behalf of our member practices, we provide additional appointments with GPs and Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) during weekday evenings and on Saturdays.
When are appointment available?
Our Enhanced Access clinics run:
- Monday to Friday: 5pm–9pm
- Saturday: 9am–5pm
These additional clinics complement the services provided by your usual GP practice during normal opening hours.
What appointment are available?
A variety of GP and Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) appointments are available through the service.
The most appropriate appointment will depend on your healthcare needs. Your GP practice reception team can discuss your needs and help identify whether an Enhanced Access appointment is suitable for you.
How to Book?
Enhanced Access appointments are booked through your GP practice reception team.
Contact your usual GP practice and explain what you need help with. The reception team can advise whether an Enhanced Access appointment is appropriate and arrange one for you, subject to availability.
Where will my appointment take place?
Enhanced Access appointments are provided on behalf of our member GP practices. Your appointment may take place at a different location from your usual practice.
When booking, your practice team will confirm where your appointment will take place and who you will be seeing.

The Enhanced Access Service is available to patients registered with one of our member GP practices.
