Karyn joined the NHS in 1992 as a Student Pharmacy Technician, qualifying in 1994, and has since gained 30 years of experience, the last 17 years being within the St.Helens locality.
She is a proactive member of the Pharmacy Team who is organised and conscientious.
She completed the NHSE/CPPE Medicines Optimisation in Care Homes pathway in 2019 and enjoys supporting structured medication reviews for residents in care homes.
Her role involves supporting the lead Clinical Pharmacist in developing Pharmacy Technician workstreams, as well as co-ordinating the safe ordering, storage and delivery of COVID-19 vaccines amongst the member practices.
Outside of work, she is a mum to one daughter with 4 family dogs and a horse. She is also a keen gardener.
