PCN Director
Professor Steve Cox, is an experienced GP leader with a national profile and 32 years’ experience as a GP partner. He is Chair of RCGP Mersey Faculty [Cheshire, Merseyside and Isle of Man] and a Visiting Professor at the University of Chester. He has been a GP educator for over 20 years and has held a number of senior leadership positions including Medical Director of NHS Merseyside and Clinical Chief Executive of NHS StHelens CCG.
Steve is executive partner for the Spinney Group Partnership, a clinical lead for Cheshire and Merseyside Training Hubs and is Chair of St Helens PCN Ltd Board. He has a keen interest in primary care, education/training, frailty, managing concerns and quality/safety of care.
